In customized glasses and tucked in classic cars, Booboo Stewart was revolutionized into James Dean which brought out his inner bad-boy and love for the 1950s.

Stewart, who stars as Seth Clearwater, is amongst one of the new faces of the “Twilight Saga.” Although it isn’t his first project, it’s clearly the most stimulating acting career choice he has indulged himself in several years. A Ford model who has a contract with Gibson guitars, Stewart is a proclaimed teenage heartthrob.

When the role for Seth was announced, Stewart immediately jumped to the opportunity by instinct. “It’s [just] the one I felt I was right for,” he explained. Despite his short visit to Canada to film “Eclipse,” Stewart was able to live and work among some of the most famous stars of today like Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.

Canada was not a completely new place for Stewart as he had toured the country before. “Everyone was really nice there,” Stewart begins, “[The cast] treated me great and it was even better than I hoped for.”

Having Stewart as Seth generated an even larger fan base. In a previous discussion with friends, Stewart mentioned that fans had driven by his home to steal quick looks. “It took a little getting used,” he said, “[But] I get a lot more…opportunities, so it’s all good.”

Despite his pre-success with the “Twilight Saga,” Stewart is already looking forward to “Breaking Dawn,” which is split into two films, and furthering his music career. Fans may remember Stewart from the music group T-Squad who were most memorable for their cover of Vitamin C’s “Graduation.”

“I love what I do and like getting better at it,” says Stewart. He appreciates what he has earned and continues to thank for these risen opportunities. Stewart seeks to explore his careers and hopes to discover more of himself in the process.

Just before arriving on location for his Inspire cover shoot, his family encountered a stray puppy. Alone and with a collar that was too small, the dog was welcomed by the Stewarts and was brought along and named ‘Marley.’ Marley now holds his debut with Inspire as a model in the arms of his new loving family.

With a plan for Stewart to portray James Dean, the crew jumped at the chance to style his hair, his clothing, and even his appearance for each look. Stewart was shot reading, which James Dean was often found to be doing, driving the hottest chariots, and starred as a “Rebel Without a Cause.” Despite his portrayal as a sexy-rogue, Stewart was able to reflect his benevolence when holding Marley as well as when smiling for the lens.

Stewart and the “Twilight” cast and crew is back for their third movie on June 30, 2010.

J-Man and Jack-Man are just two of the nicknames this nine year old cutie has earned from his cast mates on The CW’s One Tree Hill. To his fans, he’s not only OTH’s Jamie Scott, he’s a sweet-heart named Jackson Brundage! (Between you and me, if you see him around, I think he’d be just fine hearing you shout “Hey J-Man” from across the way.)

California vs. North Carolina

This little guy is quite the personality, and quite the traveler. Hopping back and forth between his home in California’s Santa Clarita Valley when he’s not shooting, and the set in Wilmington, NC, during the season, keeps him quite busy. “My parents are really supportive, my mom especially because she’s the one who goes back and forth to North Carolina with me.” Though he quickly answered, “California,” when asked which state he preferred, the reason is clear to anyone his age. “Here in California, it’s living the life, going to school, playing sports and hanging out with my friends. But, when I’m in North Carolina, its all work, work, work.”

“My favorite thing to do when I’m in North Carolina is to go out for a movie and pizza with the cast. Or, we’ll have Wii nights at someone’s house.” Wii’s Super Mario Brothers game is top on his list.

The Swear Jar!

Jackson’s college fund is growing as we speak, or shall I say, as his cast-mates speak! They have a little something on set called a “Swear Jar.” Anytime a member of the cast utters a no-no word, they have to put $20 in the jar! His biggest contributor? Chad Michael Murray!

Auditioning for One Tree Hill

At his callback, Jackson met the director of OTH. “We got into a very tiny argument about pie! He asked me out of the blue, “do you like blueberry pie?” I said I don’t like pie, I like cake and I’m a chocolate guy.” Once I told him I was a chocolate guy, he said, “That’s my kid!”

J-Man learned to handle the pressure of auditions at an early age, booking his first gig in a short film as a pre-schooler. Then, at the young age of three, he became the voice of Pablo the Monkey for a new Disney series, “Einstein Pals.” He most recently shot an episode of Navy NCIS. His favorite part of the experience? “I liked that my character got to find the dead body.”

On the cast of One Tree Hill

You’d think it’d be difficult for a five year old to walk into a table read of a cast of adults that already know each other, but this little guy handled it with ease. He put his nerves aside, shook their hands, and introduced himself. He says being the only kid on the show gives the adult cast a chance to be a kid themselves again.

A little piece of bonus info for ya’, he rocks on Guitar Hero and had a blast playing it, wigs and all, in a scene with his TV Dad, James Lafferty. Jackson speaks just as highly of his TV Mom, Bethany Joy Galeotti. “It is fun working with Joy because she’s always upbeat and playful, singing all of the time.”

On James Lucas Scott and Love

Jackson loves his character, describing Jamie as athletic, fun, and a guidance counselor for the adults. Now that OTH’s season 8 renewal is set, in his mind, there is only one thing missing, a love interest! And… he knows exactly who he wants it to be! Girls, watch out, there’s competition. Jackson says he has a cute, little, red haired girlfriend in California who would be perfect for the role!

On Directing

Being in front of the camera isn’t Jacksons only desire these days. His eyes lit up when asked about directing. “I think it’d be really cool to direct, to say ACTION, CUT! It’d be really cool to give direction, that’d be awesome!” Hey, Mark Schwahn, give the kid a shot, I bet he’s got an idea or two up his sleeve! Just ask him about that love interest he’d like to cast! Wink.

A charitable heart

He first got involved with the Cured Foundation when 17-year-old Jori visited his set. She is the reason the Cured foundation was created. Her parents started the foundation when Jori was diagnosed with Eosinophilic Disease. Just recently, he and his father flew to Chicago to help Cured once again, this time raising even more money for Eosinophilic Disease than the first time around. To add to his list of kind acts, in February, he also did an autograph signing with the rest of OTH staff to help raise funds for the Wilmington Police Department’s Officer Down Memorial Wall project.

OTH Season 7 finale!

It’s just around the corner on Monday, May 17th. You know exactly what I’m talking about! All our little man, Jackson, could give us about the finale were two words… “Cold” and “Mushy.” Now I could read into that many ways, but I’ll let your mind do the wandering. If you can’t figure it out, you won’t have long to wait, so tune in to the CW!

Shot in San Dimas in April by Gretchen Easton, Debby Ryan floated in Sunday vintage dresses and Ray Ban sunglasses. Declaring she was “lost” and ended up with matching books and her violin, Ryan was all smiles and laughter during her May cover shoot.

She has a gleaming personality with big hazel eyes, lives the life of a superstar, yet can instantly become someone’s bestfriend. 16-year-old Debby Ryan has been making headlines since the announcement of her role in Disney’s “Suite Life on Deck.”

Still a young adult, Ryan is a series regular on a popular Disney series and wrapped up filming with two new films called “16 Wishes” and “What If…” which are set to be released in the Summer. On the screen, she’s smart, agile, and appears to be confident as a professional and is very much the same off-screen. Regardless of her role as a Disney actress, her attitude and passion sets her apart from other Disney stars.

“I don’t feel the need to proclaim that I’m different,” Ryan begins, “If people prejudge someone because of the company they’re associated with, they probably couldn’t comprehend the differences and uniqueness that make them special anyways.”

“Everyone’s unique and doesn’t have to prove anything to anyone.”

Having a reputation as a “Disney” star doesn’t always make life easier for talents like Ryan. While living up to other demands of the acting industry, Ryan doesn’t feel it is needed to announce her uniqueness to the world. “I’m not walking around like ‘look! I’m edgy!…I’m so unique!’” Those who dislike Disney’s ‘triple threats’ are often misled by the trend itself. “Everyone’s unique and doesn’t have to prove anything to anyone.”

With the show “Suite Life on Deck,” Debby is proud to be involved with the cast and work alongside an incredible crew. As the third season begins, fans may recognize that “There are lots of changes…with characters, relationships and of course [the characters] travel to different places. The show just keeps getting funnier and funnier.”

Before booking a role on the show, Ryan was “a fan of “The Suite Life with Zack & Cody” and even had their posters on [her] wall.” After three seasons, Ryan has developed professionalism in the work place yet the show allowed her to learn from and about her castmates. Additionally, she wishes the show to have a “musical element” to lighten the cast’s feet.

Now, with “16 Wishes” premiering in the summer, Ryan is ready to take on the full ride after its release. “My entire life is the result of a lot of work, sacrifice, and perseverance, but it’s also one big wish come true,” Ryan says. “Being so involved in the whole process, being able to record the theme song for it, and being surrounded by a talented, hard working crew and cast….was a huge wish come true.”

“16 Wishes” is the new Disney original film and consists of “flashbacks, magic, fast cars, music and a bit of suspense. It’s a story about priorities, choices, youth, wishes, family, love, friendship, and the magic of everyday life.” The movie depicts the struggle of achievement and the problem with excessive desires. “No matter what age or gender, nationality or family situation, there’s something you can relate to or take away [from].”

Regardless of working most of her time, Ryan takes the time to give back. At Inspire’s event for “To Write Love on Her Arms,” Ryan came to the event directly from the “Suite Life” set to show her support. “A couple of people who are very close to me have struggled with depression and been affected by suicide or thoughts of suicide,” said Ryan. With the help of Ryan and other celebrity guests, Inspire was able to lead a successful night during Coachella week and motivated hundreds of people to become part of the love moment. “The more we can bring awareness to the cause, the more we can personally touch the lives of people who might be struggling and the more lives we can save.”

Ryan also shared her thoughts on the acting industry and a revolution she hopes to see in the future. “I…wish scary skinny wasn’t the standard. I wish curves weren’t hidden, I’d like for them to be portrayed as beautiful as they are.”

“I really love those who are open-minded & interested in seeing what else I want to do. It means a lot to me. Diversity is beautiful, and the people who look for it are gorgeous.”

Confusion arises between a vegetarian and a vegan. A vegetarian diet means that no meat of any kind is consumed, whereas a vegan doesn’t consume meat, dairy or eggs. Switching to a vegetarian or vegan diet can save more than 100 animals per year.

Besides saving animals, switching to a vegetarian diet is also a more healthful choice. Consuming meat in large amounts can be extremely fattening, thus causing obesity in millions of children and teens. From what one might hear, meat gives the body nutrition and proteins essential to daily life. Although that may be true, there are other ways to receive those same nutrients without hurting animals or the environment.

Eating meat has been said to be a recurring factor that contributes to the theory of global warming. Devouring more meat products would lead to the constant release of methane gas where humans play a large role in. Despite the accusations of cows as a leading cause of air pollution, they contribute a much smaller portion as opposed to the human population.

Bacteria found in meat are harmful to humans, especially children. It can poison and possibly kill them from uncooked meat. Although antibiotics can cure most sicknesses, it is still dangerous. Children that grow up eating vegetables do not obtain diabetes, high blood pressure, or weight problems in their future.

Milk provides for healthy bone structure, but what many people don’t realize is the fat and calories that are involved in each glass, thus causing children to become overweight. It also contributes to disjunctions like asthma, anemia, and constipation.

At factory farms, cows are fed grain instead of grass, which is inorganic to their way of life. The supplies farmers use to feed animals will eventually and unnecessarily kill the vertebrates. These food products can be used to feed impoverished and third-world countries. Global hunger is in the process of domination with every pound of food that we feed animals.

Whether it’s becoming vegan for 30 days or becoming vegetarian for life, any small change can save animals and preserve the environment. In an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, she said, “You ask people why they have deer heads on the wall. They always say, ‘Because it’s such a beautiful animal.’ There you go. I think my mother’s attractive, but I have photographs of her.”

Clothes, food, bedsheets – you think you have everything you’ll need at college. But how prepared are you?

1. SHOWER SHOES. You’d be surprised at how dirty college showers can be – especially when you’re sharing with a whole floor of strangers (and who knows what they will do in the showers). Sandals or flip-flops of any kind will be your best friend.

2. ADAPTERS. Bring as many adapters and plugs as you can. Most college dormitories use two pronged outlets – what laptop actually uses two prongs anymore? Getting an adapter or power board before you attend college can help prevent a meltdown – literally.

3. MICROWAVE/MINIFRIDGE. Let’s face it. For most people, college will lead to last minute term papers, all night cramming, and possibly – for the nerd in all of us – actual studying. At times like these, late night cravings can be total hassle, especially if your only source of food is the student café or the vending machine. Getting your own microwave and mini-fridge may seem ridiculous, but it’s surprising how having your own utilities will save time and money.

4. AIR FRESHNERS. People stink. You may not have noticed it in the eight hour workdays in high school, but living with roommates can really open your eyes – and nose. In these desperate times, an air freshener isn’t just good – it’s necessary. And don’t forget – spray air fresheners can double as anti-rape devices.

5. SCHOOL SUPPLIES. Things such as staplers, scissors, post–it notes, glue sticks, and so on are constantly being overlooked when people prepare for college – and colleges know this. That’s why student stores are so expensive. Avoid the costs by bring your own from home (plus, you can get your parents to pay for it – why not?).

6. EXTRA SHEETS. And a comforter. Most college freshmen only think that they’ll need one set of sheets, but when the sheets get dirty, they end up sleeping on the uncovered – and often stained mattresses provided. Bring extra sheets. Case closed.

7. ALARM CLOCK. If there is one thing that I’ve learned from life, it’s to never, ever depend on a cell phone alarm. Never. Having an alarm clock – a real one – is great. They don’t run out of battery overnight, they don’t get lost under piles of clothes, and you won’t forget to take them off vibrate.

8. NORMAL, EVERYDAY THINGS. Umbrellas, Dishware, Q-tips, ironing boards – regular things are necessary too. Don’t forget that you’ll be living completely on your own, so you won’t have the everyday essentials that your parents provide you. Think about where you’ll be living – a fan might be necessary for a college in Arizona, but not in Alaska. Think about what you use on a daily basis and whether or not you’ll need them.

9. DUCT TAPE. Things break, and college life doesn’t spare time for you to sit down and fix them (and college wallets definitely don’t enable you to hire maintenance). So what do you do? Allow me to introduce you to the answer of the universe – duct tape.

10. QUARTERS. Your mom is not living with you. She will not do your laundry. And you most likely will not have a washer and dryer all to yourself. In most cases, you’ll need to spend weekends in the shared dorm machines or at a local Laundromat. Bringing quarters isn’t just for clothes either – ever see those vending machines? What do you think they take? (And no, they do not run off of love.) I recommend at least three rolls of quarters.
