Transforming passion into a profession never seemed like such a difficult task. Especially not in the hands of young Ryan Newman (Zeke and Luther), Bella Thorne (Big Love), and Adair Tishler (Dollhouse). “I was born with the acting bug,” Newman explained. In Beeposh pajamas, Kaiya Eve skirts, and Ooh! La, La! Couture dresses, these girls were all smiles during Inspire’s cover shoot.

Ryan Newman doesn’t even remember what inspired her to act, she was just a toddler. “I started modeling and commercials when I was three and a half years old.” She has only learned to love the business and continued pursuing since 2006’s “Monster House.” Newman knew that she wanted to do more.
At 11-years-old, Newman has worked with favorites like Miley Cyrus,Tim Allen, Courtney Cox, Chevy Chase, and even Mitchel Musso. This child star is climbing the charts steadily, and fans are already praising Newman for her persistence.
In this field, Newman has to make sure she surrounds herself with honest people. Some “people will like me because of what I do and [others] will dislike me. I want to know that my friends hang out with me because they like me as a person and not because I am on TV and in movies.”
She has learned actors are “regular people.” Nothing tops her list except “family” and knows the “key to happiness is appreciation.” You can’t reach any goal without respecting and appreciating the little things.
Aspiring actors may think jumping in the working field is easy, but they must think twice. “This industry is not for everyone.” It takes time, patience, and true dedication. Without the support of family, child actors will struggle to achieve their ambitions. But if it’s true passion, indulging in local shows and school plays will benefit you in the long run.
Nevertheless, this starlet doesn’t take things for granted. Supporting various children organizations, Newman cares for those with “serious health problems.” Already, she has worked with numerous charities that “make a difference in the lives of children with life threatening diseases, and health issues that keep them in hospitals for long periods of time.” When time allows, she enjoys spending time helping her community.
Fans can watch Newman in the second season of “Zeke and Luther.”

Miss Bella Thorne runs on a hectic schedule. Recently booking a role on HBO’s “Big Love,” Thorne can now be seen on television every week.
“I started acting after I saw Remy on a show,” Thorne began, “I thought that’s what I want to do too.” Thorne’s “big start in Hollywood” was a commercial for “Texas Instruments” and later Christian Slater’s show, “My Own Worst Enemy” who she was able to pair up with Twilight’s Taylor Lautner. With “Big Love” in the mix this year, Thorne can only say how “blessed” she is to have the “chance to work on [Big Love].”
Thorne stars as “Tancy Henrickson” who is the daughter of Bill (Bill Paxton) and Barb (Jeanne Tripplehorn). Tancy is described as insecure and envious, and constantly wants to be in the “center of attention.” And with a tap-dancing character, Thorne had to take “private tap lessons on the show.”
Sometimes, this actress is overwhelmed with the amount of work she goes through each week. “You have school, auditions…work” and extra hobbies like dancing and singing. “It’s fun and a little tough sometimes.”
The audience do not know of the issues professional actors are challenged with. “It’s hard to keep everyone happy.” She “[doesn't] think everyone knows how hard [they] all try and work.”
This 12-year-old also suffered several losses while pursuing her career. She lost her “dad and grandma in the same year” and had to overcome “dyslexia.” Thorne had to thicken her skin. Only love in her heart, this tween remembers her father through memories and her family’s pet wolf.
The actress is now about to grace the screen in Disney’s “Dance Dance Chicago” in which she stars as lead “Cece Jones.” A dream that became a reality, Thorne feels like “guardian angels” are looking out for her. “It’s [been] my dream to be on Disney!”

Adair Tishler is mostly recognized for her role in season one of “Heroes.” Tishler is now featured in Joss Whedon’s “Dollhouse” as Eliza Dushku’s young-self.
“I idolized Eliza’s character from Buffy,” she said, “She is [a] talented actress and it was greatly overwhelming to play her mini-me.” The show “Dollhouse” was raved by long-time “Buffy” fans, but with ratings sinking, Fox decided to cut the show from the network. Fortunately, Tishler’s appearance is to be aired this week.
Tishler stars as young “Caroline” who has Caroline (Eliza Dushku)’s “brain.” She also leads “two others to safe haven because it is post-apocalypse.” Speaking about being on the “Dollhouse” set, Tishler exclaimed that the cast and crew “made [her] feel like [she] belonged” which makes everything much ‘perkier’ for a young actress.
Only 13-years-old, Tishler had a few things to say about image and school struggles. “[Middle School] causes beautiful healthy girls to see themselves wrongly…it’s the worst.” If a majority stops caring about what others see, “we could really change the world.” Tishler also mentions she had “really bad issues with friends,” but finally “found some good ones.”
You can catch Tishler on the upcoming “Dollhouse” episode and the film, “Jack and the Beanstalk.”
